Dancing Days
Traditional style log that will have you locked into endless nose rides and whipping smooth, hard turns. This design sits in between the California-style nose rider and the involvement Aussie era logs with a modern twist. Refining over time to create a well-balanced, easy-to-ride log that will eat up long peeling points or fun beachies.
Medium nose width to help with nose rides on flatter waves, but pulled in enough to hold in on critical sections. The wide point being set back helps with pocket rides and forward momentum, also acts as a pivot point between your feet. Then a pulled in classic chopped square tail that you can’t beat for extended tip time.
Finding the right relationship between the rocker, rail rocker, concave/belly, rails, and foil was an experimental and fun time, and I’m stoked where it’s at now.
Rocker is smooth with some kick in the tail to stall in the pocket for nose riding.
Deep spoon concave to give lift, stability and a locked in feel on the nose. Running into a soft roll through the middle and a good amount of belly in the tail so you can step back, and jam turns.
Pinched 50/50 rails though out, thin enough to give plenty of sensitivity but not catch in softer waves. Rails pulled up in the nose and tail.
Flatter deck for a stable feeling so you can enjoy the dance floor!
