Silk Twinzer

I was going on a boat trip to Indo and wanted a board that I could trust in the juice! But enough forgiveness that I could ride at home. The SILK Twinzer was born! Most silky-smooth board I’ve ever ridden and lives up to the name.

Sleek outline with the wide point forward and a subtle beak nose to get you into the bombs. Then, a pulled in rounded pin tail for pushing hard as you can and drawing clean lines.

Rocker is continuous with some extra flip in the tail for whips in the pocket. The magic is in the bottom contours with the double concave through the middle, then to a rolled concave vee. This gives the board a twitchy, sensitive feel of direction under the front foot. Then gives a controlled, smooth feel, rail to rail and grip with the vee, also speed and lift with the concaves under the back foot.  A feeling of reliability on big waves, letting the board really sit down in the water and tip over with ease. 

A feeling you can put the board anywhere on the wave face.

Rolled deck with medium rails. Foiled out in the tail for sensitivity. Thicker up front for paddle power.

All these design features, paired with the Twinzer fin set-up for extra drive and stability, make the SILK a versatile high-performance craft.

Ride it around the same length as your shorty or longer for big open walls. Even up to 7ft + range for a step up or mid-length. 

I ride a 5’10 for 3-6ft surf.
